WELCOME To us, living in local community involves essential activities such as federating, animating and building. Indeed, our town reinforces its infrastructures all year long in order to fulfill the expectations of our taxpayers and our guests. This project was initiated by local representatives, under the drive of all the concerned parties. Public services, education and cultural services reach to attain the same goal : to meet the demands expressed by the streadily growing population. Plouharnel has today 1733 inhabitants with 180 children in local schools. Since 1996, Plouharnel, Carnac and La Trinité S/ Mer gather their efforts through the Communauté de communes (Associated communes) of the Megaliths Coast and contribute together to their structural and promotional development. Such issues as economic responsabilities, tourism, regional development, environment protection and the development are from now on discussed by this community. The Municipal Library, Multimedia centre, Reception services for Early childhood are real evidences of a constant will to provide quality and next-door services. as exchange and friendly places, they take part in the community social cohésion. Plouharnel has a developped association sector, as such the city proposes a very wide panel of activities designed to a significant audience. Key factor of the local dynamics, associations take an active part in the cultural and sports activities animation of the community.
